From the beginning of the organized trade union movement in Lebanon, that is, since the beginning of the last century. To this day, the march of the Lebanese working class has been difficult, thorny, and triumphant, as well as failures and failures.

The National Union of Trade Unions and Users in Lebanon (FENASOL) is a national democratic trade union organization which is a progressive progressive activist whose decisions depend on the positions of its trade union structures and its members.

The National Union is one of the oldest trade unions that participated actively and extensively in the struggle for independence and the defense of the rights of workers, especially immigrants, farmers and women. The name was changed to the current name of the National Union of Trade Unions and Users in Lebanon (FENASOL)

The trade union movement began in secret under the Ottoman era to defend the rights of workers and farmers under the then forced labor regime

The National Union of Trade Unions has been at the forefront of labor rights defenders and in contact with migrant workers from Armenians and Kurds since before 1936 and today continues to work with domestic workers, migrants and others.

In 1944, the Union of Trade Unions and Users in Lebanon was formed. It included 15 trade unions and 12 union committees. At that time, Mustafa El-Aris was elected president of the federation and at that time was governed by the Law of Associations in the Ministry of the Interior. In September 1946, the Lebanese labor law was passed. He requested the reorganization of trade unions on the basis of the Labor Code and the creation of trade unions was subject to prior authorization from the Ministry of Economy.

In January 1948, the Office of the Federation was raided and confiscated. The office was sealed with red wax. The office was reopened after 8 days following a protest campaign, but without the confiscation of confiscated contents

On 22 January 1948, Mustafa El-Aris was arrested with 35 unionists.

On November 2, the Union office was broken into for the third time, Mustafa El Aris was arrested and a number of unionists were arrested

In 1966, the then Minister of Labor, General Jamil Lahoud, authorized the National Union of Trade Unions and Users in Lebanon (FENASOL), the Union of Trade Unions and Users in the South and the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions and Public Institutions to establish these associations to regulate their relations. ; The unions associated with power and monopolies threatened to strike in protest against the license.

At the time, the National Union of Trade Unions comprised three trade unions: hotel and restaurant users, cafés, carpenters union and trade union. Today, it has more than 20 trade unions and 40 labor union committees, including the First Union in the Middle East for domestic workers, the Committee on Migrant Workers, Public sector, education, farmers and others.

All other trade unions, employees, employees and their sectoral organizations in various Lebanese regions without discrimination shall be entitled to join the National Union after the approval of the majority of its members by the General Council.

The National Union organizes its conference periodically every four years, electing the executive office, and includes members of migrant workers and domestic workers. The percentage of women is 25% of the office.

The General Council shall consist of representatives of trade unions in a proportional manner

    Advertising In Lebanon

An advertising agency, often referred to as a creative agency, is a business dedicated to creating, planning, and handling advertising and sometimes other forms of promotion and marketing for its clients. An ad agency is generally independent from the client; it may be an internal department or agency that provides an outside point of view to the effort of selling the clients products or services, or an outside firm. An agency can also handle overall marketing and branding strategies promotions for its clients, which may include sales as well.
Typical ad agency clients include businesses and corporations,non-profit organizations and private agencies. Agencies may be hired to produce television commercials, radio commercials, online advertising, out-of-home advertising, mobile marketing, and AR advertising, as part of an advertising campaign.
Globalization of advertising originates in earlier days of the twentieth century. American advertising agencies began as the process of opening overseas offices before the two World Wars and accelerated their globalization throughout the latter part of the twentieth century.
McCann Erickson, an agency established in New York City in 1902, opened its first European offices by 1927. It was followed up with offices opening in South America in 1935 and in Australia in 1959.
Companies such as J. Walter Thompson adopted a strategy to expand in order to provide the advertising services wherever clients operated.
In the 1960s and 1970s, English agencies began to realize the overseas opportunities associated with globalization. Expanding overseas gives potential to wider markets. Saatchi & Saatchi, perhaps one of the most iconic English agencies was founded in 1970 and rapidly developed a global network of offices on the back of relationships with clients such as British Airways and Toyota.
All advertising agencies are called that because they are acting as agents for their principals which were the media. They were then, and are now, paid by the media to sell advertising space to clients. Originally, in the 18th century, and the first half of the 19th, advertising agencies made all of their income from commissions paid by the media for selling space to the client
although it is still the case that the majority of their income comes from the media, in the middle of the 19th century, agencies began to offer additional services which they sold directly to the client. Services such as writing the text of the advertisement.

The economy of Lebanon is a developing economy, with a private sector that contributes to 75% of aggregate demand and a large banking sector that supports this demand. The IMF forecast a growth of 7% for Lebanons real GDP in 2010 and 2011 following 9% growth in 2009 and 8.5% in 2008. It has the 54th richest GDP per capita in the world, and it was forecasted that Lebanons GDP per capita would reach $20,000 by 2015, making it one of the strongest economies in the region. However, the Lebanese economy was badly affected by the Syrian civil war. The institute of international finance forecasted GDP growth of only 0.7% for 2013. Lebanon also suffers from a very high degree of public debt, the third-highest in the world in terms of the ratio of debt-to-GDP. As a consequence, interest payments consumed 48% of government revenues in 2016, thus limiting the government’s ability to make needed investments in infrastructure and other public goods.
