ATCOM S.A.R.L.

  »

Established in 2003, ATCOM is a Lebanese based healthcare and medical recruitment agency specialized in the placement of locum and permanent healthcare professionals to premium healthcare providers across the world.

Our mission, values and philosophy are grounded in more than a decade of providing innovative staffing solutions for both clients and candidates. We ensure that the mission, values and philosophy are understood and integrated into all aspects of our healthcare and medical recruitment resourcing service excellence and client satisfaction.

Our clients include some of the world first-class healthcare providers, from Tertiary Hospitals, Specialized Medical Centers through to Teaching Hospitals. These institutions trust us to find them high caliber candidates to fill a broad range of healthcare and medical jobs from junior house officers and registrars through to consultants.

Candidates:
At ATCOM, we provide our candidates with an assurance that they will be treated as an individual and not just a number. With this in mind, one of our main aims is to match every candidate’s particular clinical skills, ambitions and personality to the right job but also present options they may not have previously considered, as well as the information they need to prepare effectively for interviews.

Our Team
We believe that our dedicated team of medical recruitment consultants has a distinct advantage over our competitors in that we recognize and take into consideration our clients’ unique working environment, personal qualifications and the clinical privilege required before we put forward any candidate for a job. In this regard, we are able to guarantee that every candidate is interviewed and screened individually by our team of experienced medical recruitment experts before their CV is submitted for consideration. We pride ourselves on understanding the various areas of the health care markets, authorities’ rules and regulation for licensing and in order to effectively screen medical professionals to ensure they have the necessary qualifications experience and clinical privileges.

As a client of ATCOM, we guarantee you will not be inundated with numerous CVs which do not fit the requirements of your job brief. At ATCOM, we do the job properly - delivering only first-rate candidates who not only fulfill the clinical experience requirements of the job, but who we feel will fit into the team or medical professional environment they will be working in. Where the perfect candidate cannot be found immediately, we use our extensive knowledge of the health care industry to headhunt the ideal person. However, at ATCOM we make a clear distinction between our clients and the institutions we use to source candidates. We never headhunt from our own clients. Indeed, we feel that this highlights the weakness of larger, number-crunching agencies who work with everyone in that it either prevents them from headhunting effectively or they are forced to poach from their own clients.

At ATCOM, our aim has always been to provide a first-class service for both client and job seeker. By matching a candidate’s clinical skills and personality to the right medical job and the right institution, we aim to produce an efficient and professional - as well as relaxed - recruitment experience for both the clients and candidates we represent.

Regards,
Taha Awaida
Chairman - CEO

    Human Resources In Lebanon

The economy of Lebanon is a developing economy, with a private sector that contributes to 75% of aggregate demand and a large banking sector that supports this demand. The IMF forecast a growth of 7% for Lebanons real GDP in 2010 and 2011 following 9% growth in 2009 and 8.5% in 2008. It has the 54th richest GDP per capita in the world, and it was forecasted that Lebanons GDP per capita would reach $20,000 by 2015, making it one of the strongest economies in the region. However, the Lebanese economy was badly affected by the Syrian civil war. The institute of international finance forecasted GDP growth of only 0.7% for 2013. Lebanon also suffers from a very high degree of public debt, the third-highest in the world in terms of the ratio of debt-to-GDP. As a consequence, interest payments consumed 48% of government revenues in 2016, thus limiting the government’s ability to make needed investments in infrastructure and other public goods.

The major industrial sectors include metal products, banking, agriculture, chemicals, and transport equipment. Lebanon has a competitive and free market regime and a strong laissez-faire commercial tradition. The Lebanese economy is service-oriented; main growth sectors include banking and tourism. There are no restrictions on foreign exchange or capital movement.

Beirut the capital city of Lebanon has a very rich and robust nightlife hence attracting tourists who are heading towards the Middle East on vacation. Lebanon is famous for its exquisite beauty, diversity, glamour, European flavor, and hospitable people. Its rich culture and history have placed it on the must see list of every world traveler. Lebanese cities are among the most famous names in ancient history and majestic ruins still stand today as a testimony to the greatness of people who lived in this land.
The nature of Lebanon makes it the only country in the Arab world that embraces four seasons yearly. No matter what the season, there is always something special to enjoy. In the winter season, ski resorts offer tourists slopes that are comparable to even the best resorts in Europe. In the summer, international festivals all over the country in Baalbek, Byblos, Beiteddine, Batroun, and Jounieh bring together Lebanese and foreign artists to perform in stunning archaeological and historical sites. These events have given Lebanon an enviable place on the cultural map of the Middle East.
